Well known playback singer and founder of Sadhana Music School Manjula Gururaj student Smt Chitra Jitendra first audio album ‘Bhajan Mala’ on saints Kabir, Meera Bhai, Tulasidas and Brahmanandam lyrics arrived in the market from SMS audio house of Manjula Gururaj.


At the Green Path in Malleswaram Bengaluru it was a musical treat from Smt Manjula Gururaj at the beginning and two mellifluous songs of Smt Chitra Jitendra was additional treat for the media and guests at ‘Bhajanmala’ audio release.


The day happened to be Saraswathi Pooja day of Dasara Festivities Smt Manjula Gururaj picked the right song to extend admiration on goddess Saraswathi in her song.


Prof Dodda Range Gowda reviewed some of the songs for its excellent quality and beautiful rendering. Bapu Padmanabhan international acclaimed flute player graced the audio release event of Smt Chitra Jitendra ‘Bhajan Mala’.


Smt Manjula Gururaj recalled her journey in music direction. It was in 1981 she directed her first album for that Prof Doddarange Gowda penned lyrics ‘Bhavageetha Guchcha’. In 25 years journey of ‘SSM’ it is 14th music direction. In the weekly classes conducted for housewives – Smt Chitra Jitendra is the first one to come up with album. She is Maharashtra born. In four months preparation this album was possible stated Manjula Gururaj.
